Chef Jeff's culinary journey began at the age of nine, inspired by his mother and grandmothers who prepared delicious meals that brought people together. His fascination with celebrity chefs on TV led him to recreate their recipes, honing his skills and passion for cooking. In 2015, while working overseas with the military, Jeff realized the power of food to create a sense of home and unity. He volunteered his time to cook for deployed personnel during holidays, parties, and special occasions, gaining experience in catering for larger groups.
After spending over six years abroad, Jeff returned to the United States and launched 3J's Catering in 2020. Since then, the company has achieved remarkable success, winning the Black Expo People Choice Award in 2021 and earning recognition as a private chef for celebrities. Nominations for the prestigious Boss Award in 2022 and 2023 further solidified Chef Jeff's reputation. He has also been featured at renowned events like the unCorked Jax Wine Festival, participated in Night Markets, and served as a featured chef for various Jax Chamber events, including The Longest Table.
